| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2006 Bottle. Pours orangy amber with diminishing white head. Nice sweet aroma of floral hops. Pale british malt flavor, along with tea and spicy hops. Finishes bitter, slightly earthy, and citrusy. I tried to find something sucky about this, but I did not. But there is nothing outstanding about it either. Just a tad above average. tommy8768 (120), Litlle Compton, Rhode Island, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 30, 2006 amber color, good sized head. Your basic pale ale. Has a sweet taste to it, with some hops in the finish. A little thin. Not bad but not great either. 5000 (2634), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 20, 2006 Bottle: Vibrant amber, moderate foamy off-white head, spotty lacing, mild carbonation. Floral nose, actually its quite perfume oriented. Hmmm.... strange. Watery malt flavor... very thin and uninteresting. I spoze since this is an English Pale Ale that the lack of hop is expected. Slight musty cereal like finish. Body and mouthfeel are nearing the thin side. Not bad, but it is very uninteresting. Thanks danem for sharing!

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 28, 2006 Bottle. Smells like metal piping in a dank basement. However, this is the least metallic-tangy tasting Geary’s I have sampled. Yellowish light orange. White head small but remains. Lively carbonation. Almost a bready flavor hits back of tongue. Bit of a nasty bitterness remains, however. None of these Geary’s brews have seemed balanced in the least bit to me, and this is hardly an exception. Don’t think I will ever be in Maine again, so I doubt I will encounter these beers again. Ah well... OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 30, 2006 12oz bottle pours amber with a short white head that fades to about 1/8 of an inch and stays pretty well from there with a bit of lacing. Aroma is surprisingly malty, caramel mostly but a bit of floral hops as well. Flavor is a blend of floral hops and caramel malts. Palate is somewhat buttery and light. Quite a bit of carbonation there. Pretty average all around. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
