Commercial Description:
Our flagship pale is a classic British pale ale with a nod to the legendary beers of Burton-on-Trent. Copper-colored, dry, clean and crisp with lots of late hope taste in an appetizing complex with ale fruitiness from imported Hampshire yeast.
Ingredients: Two row English malt (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt Hood, Tettnang and Fuggle Hops.

A decent pale ale with a clean, crisp taste. Slightly hoppy, both in aroma and flavor. Definitely better than their Autumn Ale.

This one Confirmed my beliefs that English Pale Ales just aren’t good. I could drink it, but why when there are so many other options.

Draught, at Muggs Ale House, Brooklyn, NY.
Golden with a creamy bone head. Asparagus aroma, malted flavour but lacks length. Not an amazing pale and certainly not a stand out given the great local competition in this style.

Fruity hops and cookie dough malt in the aroma. Clear golden amber color, thin white head. Fruity hops flavor mixes with chocolate hard candy malt. Slightly metallic aftertaste. Medium body, easy drinking. Simple but good pale ale. Crisp but not overpowering hop character.

Tasty beer. I liked the amber color and the creamy white head. I was surprised by the mild hoppiness of the beer, but I enjoyed it. It had a slight tea taste to it. Went down easy.

Copper color with a weak head. Some lacing but quckly dissipating. Lots of hops in the aroma. Plenty of hops in the flavor as well. A decent pale ale with nothing spectacular. The aroma is quite enticing and the flavor is nothing bad, but nothing great either. Very drinkable.

A copper/amber color, mild hop aroma. A clean but watery flavor. Hops are definitely present. Dirty feeling finish, though.

Small head around the sides of the glass over a copper-colored body. The aroma is somewhat ashy, with mild hops and maybe even a little yeasty. This EPA is very mellow with the hops, and the flavor is very thin, even watery. Overall, it’s bland, but a drinkable beer anyway.
