| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 18, 2004 Burnt orage color - mild hop aroma with some orange peel and spice - quite spicy for a pale ale, with a very noticable apricot flavor - bready in the finish, with hops lingering a long while - perhaps a bit out of balance (there could be a better ratio of malt/hop flavors), but good none-the-less. fly (1333), austin, Tejas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2004 Not sure if there’s a problem with quality control or just a matter of opinion on this one as I like it, but did scan some ratings that wouldn’t agree with that. A very nice, well bittered session ale that’s been around a while. Remember my old boss bringing back a case from a trip well over ten years ago. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 1, 2004 Strong apricot aroma, bright orange in color. Strange metallic taste is overpowering at the start, bland, watery in the middle and some orange rind hoppiness at the finish. Very dry, metallic aftertaste. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 6, 2004 Pours bronze with a foamy cream colored head. Nose is flowery hops, and faint bready notes. Taste is hops blended with some malt and light spice notes. Fair amount of carbonation. Some bitterness during the finish. Decent beer, but I bet this would be much better on draft. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Apr 26, 2004 Floral hops and some buttery diacetyl in the nose. Fairly large white head that lasts nicely on copper coloured body with lots of carbonation. Fairly neutral bitterness with some diacetyl also in the flavour. Malt character is lacking and body a bit thin. Bottle. VTHopHead (934), Barre, Vermont, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 7, 2004 Updated: Apr 24, 2005Aroma is sweet and floral, with some butterscotch. One of the nicer pale ale heads I’ve seen recently--pours thick and white, just a little frothy, and becomes thin but lasting. Color is a nice bright copper color. Lots of tiny bubbles. Flavor has a little fruitiness; not particularly spicy, though. Short, mild hop bite at the end. A solid lighter pale ale. Very drinkable. jskendzel (602), Washington DC, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 27, 2004 Lots of carbonation initially with a large, tan head and energetic bubbles. Light bitterness, almost grassy in the taste. Fruity flavors come out as the beer warms up--takes off the carbonation/bitter edge.
