Commercial Description:
Our flagship pale is a classic British pale ale with a nod to the legendary beers of Burton-on-Trent. Copper-colored, dry, clean and crisp with lots of late hope taste in an appetizing complex with ale fruitiness from imported Hampshire yeast.
Ingredients: Two row English malt (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt Hood, Tettnang and Fuggle Hops.

(Bottle) Frothy almond head with amber body. Fruity hop nose. Dry malt-hops flavour. Finishes dry and watery. Boring.

Pretty standard stuff. More malty than hoppy. Nice color. Consistent, medium body. hennes summed this one up very well...

Malty, in a cobwebby, dusty cask of grain sort of way - the hops come to the rescue eventually, but it's kind of like the cavalry stopped for a beer on the way and came to find only burnt out wagons. I've had a couple of mouldering, miserable EPAs lately - maybe I need to get re-educated about the style.

bright marigold orange, pasta blonde head was thin but sturdy till the end. I'd like to say: to the 'bitter' end, but it wasn't particularly bitter-- this brew is caramel malty with a good but not wrenching squeeze of sour orange bitterness. whole wheat bread aroma, light alcohol, ringwood, a tiny whiff of something like soap. pretty decent with it's dry, light to medium bodied somewhat fruity character.

Aroma: Smelled a slight malt and hop aroma, nothing to write home about.
Appearance: Poured an orangish color with a nice creamy head that quickly dissipated.
Flavor: It could have used more hops for my taste.
Palate: Good mouthfeel in this pale ale.
Overall: Not the best pale ale I ever had, but it would make a good session beer. I got hungry for lobster looking at the label!

kinda light, decent for a pale ale, and something that could become a everyday beer... but not nearly common enough

Rather Hoppy, agressive bitters. Strong hop aroma. Decent mouthfeel, far too hoppy and bitter to enjoy for me.

Nice sound aroma. Very refreshing, nice in the middle with its soft yeasty flavour mixed with "fresh" hops. We need more of those. Recommended!
