Commercial Description:
Our flagship pale is a classic British pale ale with a nod to the legendary beers of Burton-on-Trent. Copper-colored, dry, clean and crisp with lots of late hope taste in an appetizing complex with ale fruitiness from imported Hampshire yeast.
Ingredients: Two row English malt (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt Hood, Tettnang and Fuggle Hops.

12oz bottle. Pale malted chocolate and a metalic aroma also present. Copper body with good head. Decent mix of fruit dry coco and medium bitter. Easy on the palate but that metalic taste is fighting with the dry coco for aftertaste to linger on palate.

Bottle. Medium amber body, sweet nose with some hoppy notes, smallish white head. Grainy, sweet, some hops in the finish.

Smells almost sugary, very light and sweet. Pours a clear copper color with a nice fizzy off-white head. Taste is bitter hops and light malts. Not very flavorful, but not bad.

Pours a copper-orange color with a thin head. Aroma is malt, with some bittering hop in the background. The flavor is malty, with a bit of breadiness coming out as the beer warms. Only slight citrus hops. There’s lingering malt after taste.

THOUGHTS: Very Brittish. Not really my cup of beer, but a well made beer that goes down fairly easy. Great balance. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, light amber with a very small fizzy, off-white head that mostly diminished. The aroma was light caramel malt, moderate perfume, herb and a little lemon citrus hops. Also a metallic aroma. The initial flavor was lightly sweet, acidic and bitter, while the finish was moderately sweet and acidic and lightly to moderately bitter and sour with an average duration. The flavor was light malt, earthy, somewhat mattalic hops along with some lemony notes. The light to medium body was creamy and oily with fizzy carbonation and a slightly metallic finish.

12oz bottle (thanks Dad). Pours a miedium gold. Not much aroma. Flavour is a bit weak throughout. I think this is what brewers refer to as "crisp". The beer gets slightly better as it warms, but it remains unexciting. Disappointing, even as an English pale ale.
