Sep 7, 2007 Sample from bottle at the Halifax Seaport Beerfest. Amber colour with a mostly diminishing frothy white head. Light butterscotch and fruity aroma. Toasty malts with a fruity and lightly woody bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, lightly juicy mouthfeel.

Sep 1, 2007 Draft @ Suzuki’s Sushi in Rockland Maine. Pours Copper with a half finger bright white head. Nose is light but fragrant with some hops. Tasty slightly bitter, its not a bad match for Japanese food, and the price ain’t bad either.

Aug 27, 2007 Well rounded brew, fashioned after the English style of Pale Ale I was overly impressed. Decent aroma of toffee and caramel, moderately hopped with citrus and floral tones. Dark rich copper colour producing a velvety off white lasting head and big spots of lacing. Mild malty body. This is a very smooth and easy drink, makes for a nice session ale. Delicious malt flavor, mostly nutty toffee and sweet caramel, overall the malt tastes a little toasted. Just the right amount of hops are added creating a nice moderate bitterness. A dash of grapefruit and pine, this beer is amazingly balanced.
