Commercial Description:
The style of our summer ale is traditionally European, similar to a German kolsch: full bodied with a spicy hop tang and a rich, crystal clear golden color. Alcohol content is approximately 6% by volume.
Ingredients: Two row English malt (clarity, wheat and caramalt); Magnum, Tettnang and Saaz hops.

From bottle. Copper pour with foamy off white head. Nose is light malts with a lemony essence. Flavor is more of the same. Crisp, light beer overall. Decent summer drinker.

12 oz bottle coutesy of gputty. Gold with a big white head. Lots of caramely malt in the nose, some lemony citrus. Flavor is more of the same, sweet caramel malt and a zing of citrus bitter in the finish. VERY drinkable!

Had the caske version of this at the great lost bear. Deffinitly slightly better than the typical bottle version. A great summer beer though. Crisp and sweet....and the caske version has a little bit of a bitter kick to it.

Smells sweet with some hops and yeast notes. Amber body with offwhite head that is slow to dissipate. Somewhat light but well-balanced flavor. Definitely crisp and sweet. A good summer beer.

Draught. Nice crisp summer beer, with a good golden color and medium white head. Hops and citrus in aroma, and I could almost swear that there is some raspberry in this beer. Lovely light hoppy finish. FInally a summer beer I can enjoy.

Pours gold into a kolsh glass. Conglomerate head slowly recedes; leaving no lacing. Bright wheat, honey and caramel notes. Upfront hoppy citrus with a malty, lasting caramel finish that lasts a little more than it’s welcome and turns bitter.

(Bottle from Downeast Beverage Co.) Pours darkish golden-yellow with about 2" of foamy white head. Aroma kind of piney. Mouthfeel sort of dryish upfront, lightly prickly. Some sloppy lacing. Flavor is quite bitter upfront but pretty well-balanced with bready maltiness and a light honey quality in finish.

12 Oz Bottle. Light wispy aroma of a piece of white toast, with fresh salted butter spread on. Toothy grain and sweet malts shine through. An elucidating cranberry honey flows out behind. Light but complex and highly enticing. Pour is a crystal clear deep golden, with a fuming wall of percolating whale carbonation. Head is a rocky foam of crisp white. Flavor is a rich full sweet clean grain malt, with heavy honey, light malt vinegar and flowing apple and lemon juice. Crisp biting wheat edges and toasted almonds. So much flavor in something so pale. Body is full and the mouthfeel is satiating. It ends in a dryly smacking roundabout of pear skins and light figs. But, the mouthfeel gets weird, like it’s physically affecting my tounge, by scorching it with a sensation similiar to sour candy. Weird. Regardless, this is quite well done.
