Commercial Description:
Abbey Blonde We have endeavored to produce an Abbey Blonde ale in the Belgian tradition. Brewed with imported malt, hops, and cane sugar, our Belgian yeast blend produced a spicy, floral, perfumy beer with a dry finish. Pepper, rosehips, and sage come to mind. 6.7% ABV, 25 IBU

Thanks to JoeMcPhee for sharing - very hazy blonde, with an impressive, fizzy head - herbal aroma of rose, hibiscus, lavender - the flavor has an intense herbal bitterness and dry, crackery malt, with loads of wildlfower character dancing around in the background - earthy and even a bit funky - nice.

Thanks to Dim again for another great Pennsylvanian brew. 12 oz bottle poured into a tulip WOW this thing reminds me of a Duvel big with fluffy head hazy straw colored body with tons of carbonation coming from the glass ok enough this thing gets a 5 an American beer that looks like a Duvel Big yeasty aromas coming from the glass spices include pepper and sage. There is also a citrus component as well in the nose This flavor is the closet I have come to a real Belgian in an American brew. The mouthfeel is dry and it has tons of carbonation. Sour grapefruit, pepper, coriander and candy sugars are just some of the things I taste it is a very complex brew. If you can’t tell I am excited to have tried this brew, a real sleeper in my book. I could easily drink a few of these at a bar, at one sitting thanks again Dan

12oz. Bottle: Floral aroma of spices, roses, corn starch, yeast, malts, slight dust, and slight coriander. Poured golden/amber in color with a small, dense, white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of small and large particles throughout. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of slight citrus, grains, pepper, yeast, flowers, roses, slight ginger ale, and malts. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Dusty, yeasty, floral, lightly sweet, dry finish.

Poured a lightly hazy golden color with a medium sized white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, citrus, floral, fruits, honey, toasted dough, and light spice. Taste of toasty dough, citrus, toffee malts, light vanilla, pils malt, peaches, and some bitterness in the finish.

Aroma is pretty much spot on for a belgian blonde. Across the palate it leaves something to be desired, a little too watery. Good flavor, sugary, a little floral and finishes pretty crisp and dry.

On tap at the brewery. Light teaberry and tartar sauce for some reason. Mild coriander and yeasty dusty hop character. Mild sweetness. Medium orange-amber clear with light haze, topped with just a tiny bit of head. Medium watery body with heavy carbonation. Starts fairly dry with light pilsner malt sweetness, teaberry bitter hoppy character, and some dusty grain. Light chalky dusty finish, with some yeasty funk. Decent little Belgian ale.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden body with a 3 finger white foamy head. Sweet malty with a floral perfume like hop character. Very strong spiced beer on the tongue feels like pins and needles, someone hit me with a lyrica. Pepper spice but something much stronger. A very dry finish. Dont try to drink this out of a bottle it explodes in your mouth...thats what...
