Commercial Description:
Abbey Blonde We have endeavored to produce an Abbey Blonde ale in the Belgian tradition. Brewed with imported malt, hops, and cane sugar, our Belgian yeast blend produced a spicy, floral, perfumy beer with a dry finish. Pepper, rosehips, and sage come to mind. 6.7% ABV, 25 IBU

Pours a slightly cloudy pale yellow with a small head. Light aroma of citrus and some floral hops. Pale ale/pilsner type malt flavor with a little detectable hops. At least it was pretty smooth and drinkable.

Poured a hazy yellow color with a white head. Citrus and yeasty with spicy notes on the base. Citrusy and yeasty mixes in with the malt for the flavor. Spiced finish. Light and fruity.

Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of peppery yeast notes, banana, clove, candy sugar notes and breast malt. Flavor was earthy, banana, clove, bready malt and lots of Belgian yeast esters/spiciness.

batch #1 bottle via zathrus13 hazy amber with a soft barely off white head and slight drippy lacing. the nose is very floral and loaded with peaches... peppery spice, yeast, dust and a strange unidentifiable sourness (smells a little like brett but not really?). something tart shows up in the flavor as well... peaches, lots of flowers, pale malt, earthy yeast and white raisins with that tartness on the finish. the aftertaste is like eating flower petals. trying to figure this one out...7/3/6/3/14/3.3

On draft at the Inn. Poured hazy gold. Mild nose. Served in a pint glass. Somewhat spicy, floral finish. This place needs an overhaul in order to say its serious about brewing before it should expect to produce a quality beer in a style like this.

Traded bottle. Very true to its Belgian bloodline, especially in the yeasty aroma and flavour. Also a bit bit of funky sourness and earthy spice throughout the taste.

Bottle. Pale hazy golden colour. Thick white head. The aroma is pretty intense and quite herbal and spicy. Very aromatic with a light bretty minerally character. Herbal and fruity with apricot notes over a very flinty, dry maltiness. This is pretty solid stuff.
