Commercial Description:
Unfiltered and cloudy, this beer is lemon yellow in color. Modeled after the refreshing wheat beers of Bavaria, banana and clove flavors imparted by the special yeast characterize this unique brew. Just right for a hot summer day, beer and nature find harmonic bliss.

Golden color with small white head. This was your basic Hefe. Light everything. Banana, clove, and wheat. Seemed too clear to be a Hefe.

Draft at the brewpub. A hazy orange beer with a rim of white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of oranges. The flavor is sweet wheaty, but also with a soapy note and some oranges, leading to a dry wheaty end. The carbonation prickles the tongue. It lacks some banana, which makes me wonder if the it is a German yeast that has been used.

Pours cloudy gold with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of spice, yeasty hop, some banana. Medium palate with flavors of citrus, yeasty malt, banana, and some clovey phenols. Fairly complex.

Hazy, golden-yellow body with a big, slow-fading, snowy white head. Blend of spicy yeast and light hop characters in the nose, with slightly plastic phenols, subdued esters and mild nutty wheat in the background. Esters emerge in the flavor with banana and bubble gum notes and notable sweetness. Comes across as a little more malty rather than wheaty, relative to some hefeweizens. A solid wheat beer.

On tap at the GLI. Poured a medium golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of bananas, light spices and somewhat fruity. Tastes of bananas (stronger in the taste than aroma), light spices and wheat. Medium sweet.
