stangger (155), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 19, 2008 Updated: Jan 20, 2008On tap at the General Lafayette Inn - a limited version of the Thunder Porter aged in Whiskey barrels. The aroma is overwhelmingly chocolate and coffee with only a hint of what is to follow. The porter comes through in the beginning, followed by a very strong bourbon finish. Really powerful - the end tastes more like straight alcohol than beer.
