On tap. Poured a hazy amber color with a off white head. Armoa and tastes of light malts and pine with some citrus (oranges). Lightly bitter & lightly sweet.

Cask-conditioned: Foggy, speckle-laden rufous. Fat, pasty, white head. Zesty English hop nose with mineral, biscuit, toffee, and fruity esters. Pillowy soft body. Fluffy, creamy carbonation. Chewy malt flavors are backed with a very pleasant earthy hop bitterness. Hops relentlessly push through with a vaguely rindy bitterness and gain more support from the body-thickening biscuity malts. Faintly medicinal, which conflicts with the earthiness from the hops. Alcohol presence is scarcely present. Turns slightly acidic and leafy as you work your way through the bottom half of the glass. Finishes with a touch of minty alcohol and sweet, moist bread. Enjoyable.

Poured a reddish brown color with an off white film of a head on top. Piney, resiny hops, with a light malt aroma. Bitter citrus (grapefruit) taste with some caramel malts. This was a very nice IPA.

I spoke to the assistant brewer @ the GLI and this IPA was made from "leftover" grains in the brewhouse. This English style IPA turned out well considering its beginnings. Hoppy nose, adequate bitterness backed up but meduim body. I have a feeling this IPA was a one time shot even though its popularity with the GLI patrons.
