TomDecapolis (3130), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 21, 2009 Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a very small off white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, light toasted malt and caramel. Flavor was hoppy, orange, lightly toasted notes, fruity and while it’s a little thin it still produces a lot of flavor. egajdzis (3602), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 17, 2009 [Draft at GLI] Poured a hazy amber color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, oranges, some toast, and amarillo hops. Taste of tangerine, apricot, citrus fruits, lots of orange, and some toffee, with a bitter finish. agl108 (503), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA May 9, 2009 On draft at the Inn. Poured hazy orange. Expectedly thin. Slightly sweet body with a more pronounced citrus finish. Obviously weak, like drinking a water with a beer finish. Still, a respectable brew. However I must say, the carbonation issues at the Inn seem to be mildly improved. puzzl (2579), New York, New York, USA Mar 23, 2009 Tap at the Tiedhouse. Man, who woulda thunk I’d have two different milds in one day! Pale, unfiltered pour, small but persistent head. Lightly bready with a decent amount of hopping, mostly british, but with a touch of citrus. Biscuity aroma, mild, a little dull. Some rose water flavors, orange pith. JB175 (1654), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 22, 2009 Another nice low ABV brew from GLI. Aroma has a nice citrus-hop mix with gentle British and bready malts. Flavor is subdued, but tasty with hops a plenty and a nice breadiness. Good brew. JoeMcPhee (4893), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Mar 18, 2009 Tap at the Tiedhouse. Pale golden beer with lots of yeasty haze. Aroma is surprisingly malty with a fairly fresh biscuity/bready character. Soft fruity hoppiness with a kiss of estery fruit as well. It’s sort of like some of the bitter’s I’ve had in the UK that are hopped with US hops… a combination that works quite well most times I’ve had them. A nice drinkable low-gravity brew.
