| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 3, 2007 On tap at brewpub, 2/1/07. Pours a slightly hazy gold body with a foamy white head. Some light lacing. Light aroma of fruity esters, light yeast, and pale malts. Flavor is pretty minimal, soft and fruity with some yeast and a light hint of bananas. Mouthfeel is very soft and light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, this was pretty decent for what it was, but it really didn’t fit the bill for a Kölsch. There was a pretty much complete lack of bitterness and the malt wasn’t especially clean. scraff (1946), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
