The Festivities: A cushion-y mouthfeel offers beautiful pils malts and soft yeast brushes. Hoppiness is subdued, if not absent. The brewer’s abilities are definitely showcased in this one.
Transcendence: Surgical precision is a beauty to behold. Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Supremely fresh, grainy, floral, herbal nose comes slightly tart, delicately refreshing, with no off-flavors around the edges and a deft, graceful light body. Great Kolsch, quaffable and well crafted, just not very tasty in nature. JFGrind (1360), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA

GLI offers this beer to appease the non-beer geeks who venture into the brew pub. I can’t tell how many times I’ve heard a patron ask the bartender for a Coors Light and the bartender offers them a taste of Germantown Blonde. Definitely a light beer, a bit thin for me. The batch sampled was yeasty, which is not a norm according to the regulars I was sitting with at the GLI. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

I got another sample of this to give it a better description. This time I was able to get some lemon citrus, a light grassiness, and some malts in it. Somewhat of a smooth body. I noted my original numbers and have since increased some of the ratings. egajdzis (3644), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
