Poured a ligher and slightly hazy yellow with a small head. No real interesting aroma or tastes. Too light and thin for my tastes. AR 4 AP 3 FL 3 PA 2 OI 8
I got another sample of this to give it a better description. This time I was able to get some lemon citrus, a light grassiness, and some malts in it. Somewhat of a smooth body. I noted my original numbers and have since increased some of the ratings. jcwattsrugger (5583), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 11, 2005 Clear pale golden, headless. Supremely fresh, grainy, floral, herbal nose comes slightly tart, delicately refreshing, with no off-flavors around the edges and a deft, graceful light body. Great Kolsch, quaffable and well crafted, just not very tasty in nature. MartinT (5080), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 12, 2005 The Lure: Milky straw evokes the Kölsch origins of this ale. Subtle fruitiness and minty sweetness for an obviously well-brewed house blond.
The Festivities: A cushion-y mouthfeel offers beautiful pils malts and soft yeast brushes. Hoppiness is subdued, if not absent. The brewer’s abilities are definitely showcased in this one.
Transcendence: Surgical precision is a beauty to behold. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
