DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA May 2, 2005 Pours deep brown with medium tan head. Roasty malt aroma, along with chocoff. Tastes roasty malty, nutty, with chocoff and some molasses. JFGrind (1346), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 12, 2005 Under 5%ABV beers are not typical for the General Lafayette. Just like the mild winter we are having here in Philadelphia this was a pleasant surprise. Dark foamy head matches the body. Roasted flavor compliments its dryness. Poured on a nitro tap.
