Still, I prefer it to Budweiser. Much better value than crappy Bud. Bonus nostalgia points, for taking me back to a time before I even drank beer, somehow. Good picnic/summer party beer. yarry (370), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada

Standard pale lager appearance. Gold color, bubbly with a white head. Smells citrusy. Tastes fairly watery, a bit like corn. Goes down fairly smooth as well. Not bad for the price actually. sovereign27 (4), Canada does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 18, 2006 Decent beer...considering the price.
Even though it’s american it still does the job.

Same holds true for the flavor. A step above the true macrobrews (Bud, etc.) and a pretty good value for the money. Best enjoyed on a hot summer’s day at a BBQ. auderale (572), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 28, 2005 I’ve been slowly consuming a 30-pack of Genesee Beer over the past five weeks. Corny beer, slight aroma, pale color, some sweet malt. Overall a rough ride. Basically Genny Beer has been a back-up brew, when the good beer has been consumed and my taste buds have numbed its time for a Genesee Beer. nick76 (2695), Tampa, Florida, USA

The aroma is corn and malt with a small amount of hops. The flavor matches the aroma exactly. The palate is thin and overall I recommend you pass on this one unless you are cooking with it. There is not much more to say.
