Nov 29, 2004 After the Saigon we tried, this actually seemed ok. Light corn aroma on a yellow body. Bland, but inoffensive taste - no hops, but a crispy mouthfeel that I suppose would go down quite easy if you drank enough of them. Bland macro lager for sure, but slightly better than expected.

Nov 20, 2004 Very pale yellow, decent white head. Macro slighty grassy aroma. Bland, slightly sweet malt. Boring. Light body that is surprisingly smooth. Not painful.

Malty, but dismal flavor. Little taste. What good is malty if it has watery taste?
There are too many beers that are better than this that cost the same or less. I won’t try this again.

May 30, 2004 Bottle - a blast from my past. A cheap beer and it shows/tastes like it. Flavor is somewhat malty, but not strongly so. Strong aftertaste, not pleasant.

Apr 16, 2004 Pale gold with a medium sized frothy white head. Some lacing. Sweet perfumey aroma. Flavour is dull and weighted towards cheap malts. Cheap macro inside and out.

Apr 14, 2004 The only thing Genny had going for it was when they sold it at Buffalo Bills games - the perfect atmosphere when taste doesn't matter and availability does. Bought some cans recently to try and relive the football experience and confirmed my worst fears - Genny is one lousy beer. Watery, metallic, overcarbonated... you get the point. Unless it's at a stadium, steer clear!
