| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Apr 14, 2008 Sweet can. I love the old school can as well as the $6.45 price tag for a 12 pack. This brew poured wonderful reddish amber, with an off white head. The head is frothy and leaves good lacing on the glass. The aroma is of light malts and straw, adjusted with corn or rice. Also there is just a hint of caramel. The taste is sweet and malty, bready and pretzel like. Hops are almost a nonfactor. The palate is medium bodied creamy and smooth. Finish is short and sweet. Overall not outstanding but a good beer at a great price. CROchamp (10), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 17, 2008 Not a fancy discovery, but rather a nice allround beer. The foam is not its strongest point (tends to overflow, and then quickly vanish), but other parameters are rather decent. I purchased it at the local store, revolted as my favorite was sold-out, and found it a decent substitute. A true bargain -especially considering the price. blazin5050 (1), Lumberton, New Jersey, USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 2, 2009 I rated a little higher because you can sit here and say that this beer doesn’t taste like a good bock. It’s more like Bock Light, but still to have a slight craft taste and not be offensive at 7 bucks a 12 pack! Come on dude, this beer is a definite go to for the craft beer drinker on a budget, or if just going to a party and feeling like throwing some back without having to go toward Keystone or Natural Ice. I recommend this beer for the craft drinker that wants to play beer pong or keg stand 100% Cheers BREWMUSKCLES (1087), New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 11, 2008 Genesee Bock Beer is a crystal clear reddish amber beer with a soft, pillowy, off-white head that leaves fluffy lacing on the glass. I would like to note that it’s about the coolest looking beer can I’ve ever seen. It looks like it came straight from the 1970’s. The aroma is fresh sweet grainy malt with a touch of pretzels. It has a medium-light body that’s smooth and slick. It’s quenching. It is very simple and smooth-- slightly sweet, but mostly bread-like. The flavor is pretzel-like, as the aroma is. The hops are on the distant horizon. It’s very mellow. What an awesome session ale! It’s like six bucks for a twelver over at Wegmans. I’m gonna go buy one right now!
