My highest points came from appearance; creamy white head on crystal clear golden brew with pilsner effervescence. Smooth easy to drink but lacking in substance and flavor. Very inexpensive, a good choice when the beer money runs out.

Had never heard of this beer before, but gave it a try since the side of the 6-pack boasted its 10 major medals at the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup. Pours a clear golden color with a light aroma. Very smooth, drinkable beer but not a lot of flavor. Overall not a bad beer for this style, but I prefer more flavor.

12 oz. bottle. Well, here’s a throwback to a bygone era. I remember growing up in northern Ohio in the 60’s and hearing stories of this beer from friends returning from the far off land of New York. I had it on some rare occasions in those days, but I suspect it’s been over thirty years since the last one. Thought I’d see how it’s weathered the storm, not that I can remember it in any meaningful way. Crystal clear straw colored pour with a medium white head that outlasted my expectations. Slightly grainy aroma with just the faintest hint of fruitiness. Do they use any hops in this? Mouthfeel is actually pretty decent with a light to medium body and a smooth, clean, lightly dry palate. Sweet, soft malt flavor that begs for a bit more balance. Sometimes it’s better to leave memories alone than to try to relive them.

12 oz can. Awesome light cream ale. The aroma has some notes of vanilla perhaps... The body is light, the taste is very smooth. Great deal for the price. 3.50 for a sixer...haha

12oz can. A favorite of my Dad. Its clear, bubbly, and light bodied. Aroma is mildly sweet, maybe vanilla? Taste is smooth with notes of sugary vanilla and grains. Not bad, but tastes very watered down towards the end as it got warmer. Drink very cold.

Grainy, mild citrus aroma. Clear golden, carbonated with thin head. Mild citrus, with grainy notes. Fairly smooth.

Clear yellow, diminishing head. Aroma has light fruit notes, water, and a whole lotta nothin. Very watery, but at least I got some fruity notes out of it.

Mildly sweet malts and grain in the aroma. Clear golden color with a large white fluffy head. Moderate amount of lacing. Builds up some sweetness in the beginning and mellows out in the finish. Light tanginess in the finish.
