Aroma is earthy German hops and gentle malt. Initial taste is biscuty, caramelly malt followed by some earthy hops. The finish is crisp and refreshing. Easy to drink and probably agreeable for the BMC type who don’t mind an american wheat beer at the brewpub. bubbleflubber (900), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Jul 29, 2007 This pours deep golden with an initially stiff head that diminishes to trace lace. Unfortunately, the nose pegs sweet golden corn..... if I were eating vegetables, maybe that would be welcomed... Very much like American swill... corn, corn, corn to the tongue. The finish is more corn with some slight bitterness. (My mouth is actually in a grimace right now while I write this.) This is cloying, even worse than most of the macros out there. Terrible, just terrible. mtdshn (174), Moline, Illinois, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 22, 2007 Bottle. Poured a somewhat hazy golden yellow with a fairly decent foamy head that disappated quickly. Not much in way of aroma besides corn, some flour-y malt and a touch of honey. Fairly smooth mouthfeel, with a slight hoppy zing. Yeah, it’s creamy, just pretty average. I’d still take it over a good number of macros though. beerlord (215), tonawanda, New York, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 18, 2007 Can at Swill and Chill Sunday... Pale golden with a thick white head. Aroma is grassy and straw-like. Light berryish fruit and a touch of goldings earthy hop aroma. Flavour is fairly sweet with light fruitiness and a low bitterness. Sweetish finish... this tastes like Canada in that this could stand in for almost any of the macro pale ales north of the border... I wasn’t looking for a reminder, but thanks anyway Genesee. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 13, 2007 Smell that swill aroma, but this time with a little bit more of a distinct corn aroma. really light in color with a moderate amount of carbonation. Flavor is very grainy with corn and is sweetish. palate is very thin. coldbrewky (739), Saugerties, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 2, 2007 A Musky scent of corn and malt erupest from the twist off bottle. Pours a medium dark golden. Has swirly helix like carbonation. This may be my new session beer. The start to finish of this critter is so fast you have to take repeated swigs of it to attempt to figure it out. A full mouthfeel but a wham bam thank you ma;amon the body and finish. Hops? What are those? I dare the administators to make this the quote of the week.
