Eh. What can be said that wasn’t said before. Slightly better (though still similar) to the BMC products. Fairly smooth palate with a slight creaminess (perhaps the only saving grace). Not bad, not good . . . just eh.

Can, 355 ml, "gift" from Marc Gratton on April 20 2007, "savoured" on April 24 2007; eye: straw, clear, light effervescence, thin white head that disappears rapidly, no lacing; nose: faint odours, slight malt; mouth: in that order, watery, fizzy, faint taste, carbonation makes it "peppery", slight bitterness, average-length finale in malt-corn, lightly sweet, medium body, grainy texture; overall: so! FRANÇAIS Canette, 355 ml, « cadeau » de Marc Gratton le 20 avril 2007, « savourée » le 24 avril 2007; œil : paille, claire, légère effervescence, petite mousse blanche qui disparaît rapidement, pas de dentelle; nez : odeurs faibles, très léger malt; bouche : aqueux, pétillante, saveurs peu prononcées, petit filet de caramel, la carbonatation la rend piquante, très légère amertume, finale de moyenne durée en malt-maïs, légèrement sucrée, corps moyen, texture granuleuse; en résumé : bof!

Friends of mine from the upper NY area said this was one of their favorite beers...I need to stop asking them for beer advice. This was slightly better than most of the BMC products, but not by much. Poured to a golden yellow with some carbonation, a little white head that lingered a shor time, and a touch of lacing. Little aroma to speak of, though I did catch some grain, and there was nothing in particular that was noticeable in the flavor. Finish was about what would be expected; short and flat. Not sure where the "cream ale" refernce came from, but it was just another lager to me.

From a telve ounce can purchased at "Keller’s IGA" in Cincinnati, Ohio - This one pours a straw-hued brew with a malty aroma and fast-fading white head of foam. Tastewise, this cream ale isn’t what it used to be (but neither is Little Kings), but it’s still drinkable... barely.

Po urs a pale yellow, fluffy creamy head. Savor how it looks in the glass, thats the most enjoyable part. I drank this stuff out of cans, and it really gets quite foul once it starts to warm at all - so drink it cold. Ice cold.

I taste and smell grapes! Much to sweet for my likeing. The taste is alright I guess. Would not drink again though.

Suprisingly good for $.50 a beer. Palatable and drinkable in large quantities (quickly). What more could you ask for in a canned american beer?
