I drank a pint of Great Divide Hercules Double IPA before drinking this, the Hercules is rated a 99 and I saw the crap saying this beer had won awards at the GABF, they must not have been drinking the same beer. Watered down, far from flavourful, light on the palate. Utterly dissapointing. Sadly I have 5 more of these left in my fridge. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

It is like swill with a hint of creaminess to offset the bitter burnt vegetable flavors. Tastes pretty good after drunkeness has allready been reached, but this is not a good way to start the night. Overall, not horrible. recordjunkie5 (20), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

I was not impressed at all, but what do you expect for a six-pack under six dollars? superg22 (9), USA does not count | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Sep 17, 2006 From the bottle it looks and sounds good. Even has a picture of a medalion and says something about an award. But this beer is awful. Very thin with a generic american watered down taste. no hint of cream. i couldnt finish it since i knew i would have to live with that sticky choking aftertaste. scanman (146), Santa Cruz, California, USA

Could be better, but it gets a sentimental nod for its herbal and grainy quality. There have been times when I’m out west, I’m just looking for a Cre-male. Really good for the price. twindadplus2 (417), Wisconsin, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 26, 2006 Bottle. Clear golden yellow with a quick fizzy head. Herbal grain aroma with a malty background. Flavor is sweet grain, malt and a slowly building hops bite. Smooth with more body than I expected and surprisingly good, especially for the price. It’s utterly disgusting with malted barnyard flavors. Inferior ! I actually think I’d rather drink a Coors light.
