Aroma of grains and a little malt. I agree with jimrockford... basically it’s a smooth Pabst. jimrockford (49), San Diego, California, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 9, 2006 pretty creamy.. i’d still advise staying away from this one and not let the name pull you in. it’s a beer to be drank out of plastic cups off of a ping pong table by underage colleg students. morrdt (609), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Feb 20, 2006 Bottle. OMG, what a horrible beer. What the hell was I thinking? This is 101% pure skunk with an ashtray aftertaste. I’m going to get some sandpaper for my tongue. This stuff is pure horsecrap. uvajed (112), Ravenna, Ohio, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 16, 2006 Genny Cream Ale is certainly not "high class", and I am not sure where the "cream" comes into play for this style of beer, but I like it. It is the only beer I remember my father ever drinking - he wasn’t a drinker at all, but he thought this was good stuff. That’s good enough for me. This is what I grew up thinking beer was.
I won’t bother to try to describe it, enough people have already done well at that. Just try it for yourself. kingfiogojr (78), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 6, 2006 Good for being so cheap. Beats out the Bud/Miller crowd. Very smooth, but slightly more head than I would like.
At 9.99/30 pack in Baltimore, it makes another good college beer. Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 25, 2006 I got together with some of my old college buddies this past weekend and just like old times, we sonsumed this one and Schaefer. I have no idea what to say about the pour since I was drinking from the bottle, but the bottle looked nice, so I’ll give it a 3 for appearance. This one has a nice malty vanilla taste to it with some orange peels peeking through, A perennial favorite of mine. GeneralGao (3076), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 16, 2006 12 oz bottle at the Federal in Durham, NC. Poured a clear golden color with bubbly white head that dissipated quickly. No lacing. Smells mostly of subtle malt and hops with a hint of vanilla. Flavor is similar with a nice cereal grain flavor at the end.
