Tasted creamy, of course, with some nice malts. Enjoyable, but wouldn’t buy it again. I like Belhaven’s Best and Sam Adams Cream Stout better. RedEft (131), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 28, 2005 Surprisingly darker gold with hints of amber on the pour and a generous white head. The aroma is very subtle, sour cheese and flowers or honey. Watery-sweet at the start then kicks into a brief, chemical-hops bite that quickly dissapears. Light and refreshing, a "hot summer day beer" for sure. FlacoAlto (2482), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 26, 2005 Pours a brilliantly clear gold color. It is topped by a frothy thick off white head that sticks around a bit longer than I would expect. The aroma is pretty non-existent, perhaps a hint of sweet grain character, smells a bit like honeysuckle perhaps. The taste is sweet up front with a hint of bitterness in the finish. Mainly this is a simple light brew that cleanses my palate with it’s simplistic sweet grain flavors. Definitely not my bag, though it is a touch more fruity than a stander American lager, and it really does remind me of honey for some reason. BrockLanders (751), Panama City, Florida, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 1, 2005 Yep, this was the culprit responsible for my first drunk...circa 1977. Bottle. The pour is a bright gold color, the head average and white. Aroma is malty, sweet malts, the top quite thin, the finish as weak as water, mild carbonation, the hops are scarce, aftertaste slightly dry. I won’t seek it out again, except maybe for my 25 h.s. reunion. GTown (126), New York, USA

A refresher beer ice cold on a hot day. Genny, why did ya change your labels? They were classic simplicity... beerhandy (195), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Feb 1, 2005 Aroma had an ordor of wine not beer. I’ve had cream soda before and the taste reminded me a drinking a cream soda but knowing alcohol was added. No head to speak of on the pour and after a quick lacing effect was gone beer looked like it turned to a light oil color turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

Aroma of malt
Flavor of malt and corn. A bit to sweet but not to bad.
