Living in NJ Genesee Cream Ale was very available. The color was a light straw. The head was frothy and then it disappeared. The taste is of a smooth ale. It doesn’t have strong flavors either way. It is an ale that can be enjoyed at anytime. Hoss (602), Florida, USA

Commercial brew with atleast a little taste. Just don’t expect to identify this hops or that malt. Neither really comes through. Drinkable........if you’re broke and choosing between it and Busch. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 12, 2004 Clear yellow collor with a white fizzy diminishing head. Grain, flowers and mild cooked corn all enter the probiscus. sweet and earthy, not a lot of cream ale smoothness going on here. More of a thin malt liquor. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 28, 2004 eh, kind of a salmon pinkish amber sort of color with a short-lived white head. Smells and tastes cheap, kind of corny/watery flavor. probably won’t be one I will seek out, Braudog (3770), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Oct 24, 2004 This is a bright yellow and bubbly, the way you’d think an American beer would look, if that makes sense. It gives a starchy scent, but the flavor is like liquid corn with just a tang at the finish. Eh ... KarmanGhia (276), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Though it is very corny in taste it is fairly drinkable and better than a lot of other cheap beers. Still, this beer is almost a High Life labeled as a Cream Ale.
