| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 26, 2004 Cream ale vs. Cream ale. Ohio vs. New York. I hate the say this, but they taste exactly alike. Its like I bought two single bottles of a particular brand and they’re near impossible to tell apart. Smooth, full bodied. Not a whole lot more to offer after that. It is drinkable. They taste the same they get the same rating from me. PWalk (337), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Jul 16, 2004 Ugh, I recently was playiong beer pong and was wondering what foul swill they were using in the cups. "Genny Ale" the host said. "Screw that" I responded and spit this foul imitation of a beer out into the cup I was holding. I did end up having to drink a can since that was the rules of the house but I hated every last drop. jb (1058), Rochester, New York, USA

I still haven’t figured out what "Cream Ale" connotes, but I doubt this is a good representation. Foul aftertaste. Decent aroma for a macro. Low cost beer for the drinker on a fixed income. shameusburp (171), Virginia, USA

| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jun 22, 2004 To me there is nothing creamy about this one. It tastes like any other light pilsner esque beer out in this category. This is a lame producer, bottom line. sfontain (507), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 18, 2004 12 oz. can. I get a kick out of people who say this tastes "creamy" or "like cream" because this is supposedly a cream ale. It’s kid of like the people who think the opposite of "dry humor" is "wet humor." Anyway... Pour is pale yellow with a surprisingly frothy white head that, nonetheless, disappears altogether. Aroma is extremely faintly sweet, and that’s about it. Flavor is amazingly adjunct-laden-tasting and lightly skunky because I’m pretty sure that for 37 cents a can, that ain’t hops I taste. Palate is as expected: Thin and watery and fizzy. Not impressive, but considering that BMC is about 50%-75% more expensive, this is probably not a bad deal if you’re going to drink crap.
