This brew was a staple in my late high school and early college days because it was cheap and I lived where it was readily available. I tried it again about ten years ago for nostalgia’s sake and I was pleased to find that it hadn’t changed much. Cavie (1431), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Appearance: Pours bright sparkly gold with mid light head. Fizzy middle. Nose: Light , fresh mineral nose. Slight hint of corn and grain, Dry alcohol ending. Flavor/Palate : Thin bodied. Soapy bitter hop notes on very thin malt base. Off flavors followed some rough bitterness on top. Very poor creation.

Aroma is sweet with hints of vanilla and very mild overall. Taste is light and sweet as you would expect from a cream ale with light hops in the finish.
