| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Sweet corny aroma. Clear golden with little to no head. Lightly sweet mixture of pale malts and corn sweetness. A touch of crispness in the finish I guess. Not unpleasant, but not much going on anywhere in this one. Taste starts sweet with a corniness that grows in intensity and with a grassy finish. Medium bodied. Ungstrup (15382), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 28, 2008 Bottle from The City Beverage Co, Old Street. Popped in to grab a Goose Island Root Beer and saw this little beauty in the fridge. As cream ales are few and far between I thought I might as well give it a go. Pours a clear gold with a quickly dissipating white head. Nose is sweet and sugary, dunno if it’s just the mindset of thinking cream ale but it actually smelled like cream soda. Underneath are the usual suspects, grainy, corney malts and a hint of metallic hop. Odd but, as a big fan of cream soda, I can’t help but kinda like it in a way. Still, have to admit, the root beer was better.
