argo0 (6167), Washington DC, USA Apr 10, 2002 I couldn’t go to school in upstate NY without trying a genny (anyone remember curt gowdy pitching this stuff?). Light, thin and sweet. Bov (4623), Bienne, Switzerland Sep 4, 2001 hopscotch (4460), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Aug 11, 2003 Crystal clear yellow brew. Large white head. Scattered lacing.
Smells like an American standard/pilsener. Butterscotch, pepper and corn.
Regarding flavor, it's a bit on the sweet side. Probably all the adjuncts. Not very malty... just sweet. Weak hops. Just a touch bitter... just a touch.
Light-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, not-so-clean finish. muzzlehatch (4425), Burlington, Vermont, USA Aug 6, 2002 Dominated by corn, perhaps a hint of other grains; quick-dying artificial head; nasty metallic bitterness hints at the end. A cult beer in some parts of the East and Midwest; just like Coors used to be a cult beer everywhere that morons lived.
