Beerlando (1339), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 22, 2008 Pours clear and light golden-yellow in color. A small, fizzy, white head is quickly fleeting and leaves virtually no lacing behind. The aroma shows cereal grains, stale corny malts, doughy yeast, and traces of floral hops. Flavors, too, are based on overly sweet corn malts, again tasting stale and lackluster across the board. Light bodied and moderately carbonated, it basically drinks like a cheap pale lager. Not good at all. Nightfall (312), Athens, Greece May 8, 2008 0,5lt Bottle. Light yellow color with a medium white head.Malty and hoppy aromas nad taste. Richer taste and much hoppier than their lager. Refreshing and good in accompanying meals, especially during the hot greek summer. KnutAlbert (2312), Oslo, Norway May 8, 2008 Bottle bought in Athens.
Not bad at all, light, with a crisp bite. Too bad there is a flavor element that reminds me of artificial sweetener, but it is not too dominating. Delirium (433), Santa Cruz, California, USA Nov 29, 2007 Draught at a Thessaloniki wine expo. Pours light yellow with a moderate white head. Aroma is light malt and hops with some skunkiness. Flavor is the same. Maybe I got a bad batch, though that’d be odd since it was their own promo staff serving it from kegs at the tasting. Basically a slightly hoppier version of their lager imo. beerakias (10), Mykinon, Greece Sep 26, 2006 Light maltiness with a moderate hops that gives a good dry bitterness. Average fizzy head, white but no lacing. Light, clear and sparkling body, on the yellowish side. Finishes with an average and moderate bitterness. A very good pils produced in Greece.
