MiP (6026), Flensburg, Germany Oct 4, 2008 Bottle, 5.0%. Weak fruity aroma. Clear red brown colour. Sweetish flavour, OK breadiness. Hint of fruit, berries. Beerlando (1352), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 22, 2008 Pours a clear reddish-amber color with a tiny, fizzy, off-white film. Virtually no lacing noted. The aroma shows notes of stale caramel malts, cereal grains, and faint floral hops. The flavor follows suit exactly, with overly sweet caramel and sugar dominating what little hop bitterness there is, and dry cereal grains contributing to the "cardboard" feel. Weak and thin in the mouth. This beer is pretty much a mess. KnutAlbert (2322), Oslo, Norway Apr 13, 2008 Bottle from a Plaka shop.
Aroma of dried fruit. Rather thin, on the sweet side. Flowery.
Caramel.
Some dryness and a little burned sugar in the finish. They should have made more out of this.
Lovely red color, though! Delirium (433), Santa Cruz, California, USA Nov 29, 2007 Updated: Dec 17, 2007Draught at a Thessaloniki wine expo. Pours caramel-orange with a small white head. Aroma is caramel malt and some grain. Flavor is the same, with a hint of hops back there somewhere. Decent, if boring.
