CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA Aug 17, 2006 Pours a pale yellow champagne color with a thin wispy white head. Smells strangely like a roast with carrots and potatoes that my mom makes, some skunked noble hops and pale malt. Body starts with a very thin, lightly-sweet palate that pretty much evaporates on the tongue leaving a dry watery finish. Would probably be nice to drink in the Mongolian desert. goldtwins (3740), Nesconset, New York, USA Aug 15, 2006 Poured a clear pale straw color with a thin white head. Malty aroma with notes of SKUNK. Thin flavor. Mostly malty with a mild tartness. Light body. Clean finish. RateandPillage (417), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jul 31, 2006 I got this beer at an obscure market in Seoul, South Korea. All of the other beers were about $1.50 for 0.5L, and this one was $8. Never having seen anything like it, I figured it was worth bringing back. Pours very pale straw color, clear, and with a small white head. Has a skunky malty aroma. Medium maltiness in flavor, but tastes like lots of other stuff than barley. Probably rice, corn, and a bunch of other stuff that these guys thought would contribute to the "health" factor of the brew. To that note, besides being hard for three days after drinking it, I didn’t notice anything different than a Bud Light (just kidding). No hop aroma, flavor, or bitterness that I can tell. Overall, an interesting beer find, but not one that I would make a special trip back to Asia to get another.
