Jun 13, 2004 Pours with a reddish hue. When I think of a diamond in the rough, this is the beer that comes to mind. Wait...no. Not a good beer. And the taste is just not good, though better the genny light.

May 11, 2004 This is truly a diamond in the rough. faint aroma. Like other reviewers I would’ve hoped for a bit more hoppy-ness. It only comes in 30 pack of cans so drink up. Cheers.

Mar 1, 2004 COpper hue. Pleasantly sweet, fruity nose. Small head, steady carbonation. Tastes like sweet urine. Smells like urine. Lacking in flavor, this stuff is gross. Im gonna go dump it in the toilet where it belongs. Thank you very much.

Oct 28, 2003 Updated: Mar 20, 2004This one rocks for the price(11$ w/tax 30 pk)kinda thin sweet aroma that is like killians,tastes like a lighlter scwagier killians w/ more carbonation+hops maybe(& w/o that damn coors taste).It leaves my palate very chalky.This one is brewed w/o rice or corn?I am not catching much horrid crapiness goin' on here but I also haven't had an Avery yet and after good beer this is like super-macro beer.Pours out w/the big sudzy macro head,crazy lace,lots of macroswill carbonation but this one seems to be on a slightly higher level of cheap brew.The color was a nice golden/fake-red-amber.Good cheap beer.Highfalls & their sweetcheap brews.

Oct 8, 2003 Updated: Nov 20, 2003Pours with a reddish hue, and produces a thin bubbly macro head that disappears a minute or two after the pour. Smells a bit of adjunct, but produces few off flavors and is actually drinkable. Could be much worse, considering the other genesee offerings.

Jul 11, 2003 Updated: Nov 6, 2003Red in color with a huge head that dissipates within 20 seconds with some lacing. The aroma is fairly subtle and suggests a deep, rich taste. The suggested taste is not present. Very hoppy on the tongue, but the malt flavors are lacking. Goes down rediculously easily with no finish.

Mar 10, 2003 A decent brew for the money. Quite sweet and very drinkable. Not very complex, but the flavor is quite decent for a beer so cheap. Has a nice reddish-amber color too.
