DuffMan (1915), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 7, 2006 This beer is not to be confused with Pacific Western Genuine Draft that is brewed in Prince George B.C. This beer is a "house brand" marketed by the Sobeys grocery store chain, and available only in their proprietary liquor stores. It is very cheap-- I paid $4.14 for a sixpack! And considering the price, the beer is actually not bad at all. Standard pale lager fair, but there is none of the bad stuff that makes the cheap ones so nasty. Fresh grainy and bready aroma, clean palate with noticable pale malt, and a slightly bitter finish make this a decent beer. I would choose it over Canadian any day!
