However, when I hold "Good Beer" Parties at my house (remember that not everyone is a beer lover), I say the minimum quality beer is Killians Irish Red. meeple (57), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Aroma is malty, sweetness, and toast. Nice medium mouthfeel. Again slightly sweet malty and biscuity come through in the taste. Pleasant but not complex or long lasting. Very drinkable and quite reasonably priced. minch25 (358), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Not much in way of aroma. Somewhat malty flavor. Palatable enough to get through a cup. Sometimes this beer makes me wonder how Molson/Coors is still in business and how people can spend money for this. Comparing crap macro lager to McDonald’s, say, isn’t fair because McD is at least tasty if not entirely healthy for you. There’s very little point to this beer unfortunately. Pours a beautiful brownish red with a small white head that disappates very quickly. Smells of weak malt, bits of caramel, and typical lager smells. Tastes like a lager (I don’t know how else to describe it), but darker than usual. Hints of metal too. Overall a good lager, but only good to drink quickly and coldly.
