| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Feb 19, 2009 Bottle. Pours light amber brown (not red) with a tan head. Aroma is rather faint, but consists mostly of malt. Tastes malty, feels thick, but one of the better MolsonCoors beers out there. BroSpud (612), , Massachusetts, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 14, 2009 Pours light brown with a generous, fizzy beige head. Nice malt aromas of toffee with a faint hop bouquet. Pleasant qualities end there as the flavor is typical macro (corn is noticeable) with a reduced hop profile. Body is medium with an almost non-existent finish. I guess this is what the market wants? It’s not microbrew quality, so don’t expect an epiphany. What more could you ask from a commercial brewer than to make a consistently good palatable beer. If your a snob and want real Irish Red, than go to Ireland. jebb12 (39), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | Feb 12, 2009 I know this is subjective but I’m just really turned off by red beers, in particular the ones that, true to their name, are actually an amber red color. I immediately taste the vinegar flavor I think most characteristic of this strain of beers. The only positive thing I have to say about this beer is that it had a rather thick maltiness that was sort of sweet and in a way took the edge off of the nasty rubber y chemical bitterness. No smell to speak of. I wonder why the big companies can’t make a good premium beer? (think Michelob, Bud Select, Crap Top Wheat, and that awful Cervesca thing Bud makes with lime and salt – all yuck!). jjkuck10 (36), , Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 8, 2009 Copper, brown-red color with off-white head. Weak aroma of malt and caramel. Flavor light and a little creamy with malt,carmel, and nuts. fitch256 (26), Boston, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 6, 2009 Bottle. Amber red color, with a relatively dry aroma. Caramel notes and slight bitterness, but the positive is that it’s not at all heavy so for those looking to drink alot but still maintain some level of flavor, this is a good option.
