I immediately taste the vinegar flavor I think most characteristic of this strain of beers. The only positive thing I have to say about this beer is that it had a rather thick maltiness that was sort of sweet and in a way took the edge off of the nasty rubber y chemical bitterness. No smell to speak of. I wonder why the big companies can’t make a good premium beer? (think Michelob, Bud Select, Crap Top Wheat, and that awful Cervesca thing Bud makes with lime and salt – all yuck!). jjkuck10 (36), , Wisconsin, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 6, 2009 Bottle. Amber red color, with a relatively dry aroma. Caramel notes and slight bitterness, but the positive is that it’s not at all heavy so for those looking to drink alot but still maintain some level of flavor, this is a good option. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 5, 2009 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear amber/red color with a one finger tan head. The aroma was faint, with only some caramel. The flavor is ok on this one. Malty base with caramel and a light bitter finish. CIPS514 (77), Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 2, 2009 For a cheap beer it’s really not that bad. Not Irish at all but still a decent beer. Again only decent for its price and for the way the economy is, it’s hard to find cheap AND good. nickd717 (1409), Palo Alto, California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 2, 2009 Come on guy, this stuff isn’t Irish. Pours a reddish copper color with a white head. Malty aroma, caramel malt I suspect. Tastes malty but a bit watered down, hops are weak. A little spice to it. Beats the hell out of the macros, but gets the hell beat out of it by any real craft beer. douglas88 (1685), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 31, 2009 Bottle from Smiths. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head. The aroma is light dirty malts. The taste was full of a sweet and dirty malt flavor, caramel, very watery and relatively flavorless. Not something I enjoyed much. milljam (584), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 30, 2009 Very yeasty and bread-like. Sort of like drinking liquid bread. Lingering aftertaste that is not very pleasant.
