| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Dec 24, 2008 12oz bottle and can. Pours a dark amber color with a fizzy head that tapers off. Slightly malty, sweet and roasty but also rather watery, leaving a thin mouthfeel. I would put this in the same class as Michelob Amber Bock and Yuengling but I would prefer those two over this one.

But still, its a good fundamental beer for a bbq or campout, not a true macro but not too crazy as to scare your friends... overall a good choice, I think. skoll (135), Traverse City, Michigan, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Not too bad of a beer. Nice red color, and a pleasing aroma. Tastes better than most common bar beers, making it an accpetible choice for a night out with the guys when every one else is drinking Miller lite. tarheels86 (795), Washington DC, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 20, 2008 On tap. Pours a clear reddish amber with a small head that diminishes to nothing. Aromas of red licorice, toast, sweet malt, and caramel. Taste is mostly red licorice with some caramel and toffee. Aftertaste is very sweet and short. Medium palate, watery mouthfeel. Unbalanced overall. after4ever (2803), Brier, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 17, 2008 12 oz. Pours a crystal clear dark amber with a dense but shallow tan head. Musty, dusty nose. Smells chemicalish, but the notes are hard to place. Not appetizing, but not offensive...nor natural or healthful. Light, watery body. Nutty, brown bready mid palate. Dry finish. Not much to talk about, but drinkable enough, I guess. Does anyone else remember this as the aficionados choice in high school
