Bottle. Pours dark orange with beige head. The aroma is toast, some odd spiciness, and metal. The flavor is light caramel, corn, and copper with an odd sweetness to the finish. The aftertaste is extremely metallic. Meh.

I remember just starting out discovering beer and thinking this was really good beer. I’d drink it pretentiously. It’s red, king of creamy white head. Sweet, slightly spicey aroma. Balanced, caramel flavor. It’s ok for a BMC beer.

Killian’s is a mass produced Irish Red. But it’s a good one and it’s done in true fashion. And the best part is that this beer is available most places. So for the true beer lover this is a practical choice when you go somewhere that just doesn’t quite have the selection you’re looking for. And for the amateurs this is a nice way to venture off from the norm. I appreciate this beer and I honestly drink it more frequently than most other brews around. Copper color with an amber hue and a medium tan head. Sweet, malty aroma. Smooth taste with hint of caramel.

Bottle. Low but lasting creamy off-white head. Lovely clear amber to red body. Honey caramel sweet aroma. Mild and very sweet caramel flavor. Heavily carbonated, little hops bitterness and a short aftertaste.

Years ago this was a favorite of mine. Had for the first time in years tonight, and realized its just an average beer. Got a decent flavor but other than that nothing special going on here. Bottle pours to red body with no head to speak of. If you’re in a pinch and have to grab your beer at Walmart this is a viable choice.
