Honey caramel sweet aroma. Mild and very sweet caramel flavor. Heavily carbonated, little hops bitterness and a short aftertaste. Caleb1035 (63), , North Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 25, 2008 Years ago this was a favorite of mine. Had for the first time in years tonight, and realized its just an average beer. Got a decent flavor but other than that nothing special going on here. Bottle pours to red body with no head to speak of. If you’re in a pinch and have to grab your beer at Walmart this is a viable choice. RasterMaster (125), , Oklahoma, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2008 Old standby for when liquor store is closed since it is avaiblable almost anywhere. Amber-orange pour into frothy, mostly diminishing off-white head. Good amount of lacing. Good balance of light hoppiness and malty flavors. Have had on tap before but would like to try a 6 pt. Killians Irish Red on tap. StanMemTn (34), Memphis, Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 21, 2008 Pours up a reddish hue that may be not 100% natural. Drinks pretty smoothly, has some discernable malt and hops presence. Can be a good option at some chain restaurants or at the occasional bar where this is priced as a routine domestic which it is. movezig (137), Pensacola, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2008 Nice red pour. Smokey bitter sweet character. Dark roast malt. Has all this but is still lacking. ChazMania (415), Pasadena, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Tap. Shared a pitcher with a few friends. This was all the place on on tap. I remember really liking this beer when I was about XX (young) years old. Now, I’m spoiled. It is really quite bland...but if its the only thing on tap, I will drink it. thornecb (1812), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Pours amber/red into a shaker. Head quickly subsides to skim rim. Fruity caramel aromas. Almost painfully dry with upfront tropical fruit flavors. Mildly bitter finish. TKA300 (100), Carbondale, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 10, 2008 Very good beer. Extremely tolerable and smooth. Pretty malty and when compared to any other mass produced beer, it blows most anything away.
