Its not bad, There is some flavor, but not nearly enough. It is a good beer gone big. Good beer to start your friends into beer with. Boutip (2386), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 21, 2008 Bottle: Poured a light amber color beer with an average size foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt is not the most complex but still somewhat enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by some medium sweet caramel malt with some limited complexity but also no adjunct as I had feared to be found. Body is about average with some OK carbonation. I guess I was surprised by this one considering the brewer but this is still not something I would seek again. markwise (1187), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Aug 19, 2008 This was one of my gateway beers, but once my palate evolved I cannot drink any more of it. It is a lot of water and a little bit of malt with some other cereal grains used as fillers with a horrible lager finish. It is really not worth the calories that one is intaking. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 18, 2008 Bottle. One of my favorites of the macro brews. I used to drink this one all the time before getting into craft beer. But with that said, it’s still over all weak and watery. It’s a simple, clean lager and has more taste than the other American Pale Lagers out there. A decent compromise in dire situations. WakeandBake (434), Greenville, Michigan, USA

Decent aroma with a slightly sweet caramel smell and a grainy character about it. The taste is similar as the grainy bready taste dominates the flavor with a bit of sweetness thrown in but overall a pretty watery taste. Mouthfeel is decent being about medium to light bodied and lacking a bit in carbonation. Much better on tap than bottle

I would like to try this on tap, as it seemed it might prove to be a different animal. Very simple average lager with a good taste and smooth finish. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

Creamy, carbonic and bready with a small hops presence. Subtle and crisp but with the makings of a dull macrobrew. andrewboss (137), New York, USA
