I always thought this was coors light with red dye. Was it ? It seemed fashionable at the time.

[2493-20090926] Tap. Light fruity grains aroma. Clear, amber brown body with a long-lasting off-white head. Fruity grainy malt flavour. Medium body. Bland, but great for a soccer game.

Pours a fairly large thick head. Dark red color. Bit of chill haze perhaps? Aroma starts out like that of cream, with an ever so slight sourness to it. Micro fine carbonation bubbles. While the flavor has traits of what you’d expect from a red, it’s more along the lines of a brown ale to me with slight banana-esque lingering aftertaste. Stale body perhaps? (It was on the close-out shelf afterall)

12oz. Pale-copper colored body with a medium-smallish bronze-hued eggshell head of creamy foam that fails to lace. Aroma of corn sugar, musk, amber malts. Mouth is medium with a quick, inadequate zip of carbonation. Fairly dry finish, although wet in the mouth. Flavor is generically malty with a hint of caramel, sugar, and a very mild hop profile. There is also some alcohol flavor, like cheap vodka--not something you would drink. Tolerable.

Pours a rich amber with a medium-sized head and an aroma of malted corn with an afternote of hops. This beer has a thin mouthfeel and tastes of bitter corn malt and fusel alcohols. Looks and smells better than it tastes, but a decent beer nonetheless.

Great amber color, but the taste is pretty middle of the road. Nothing special, but it’s alright.

One of the five remaining top 100 rated beers I haven’t had. Toasty, light cherry, orange aroma. Slightly toasted flavor, and... well, pretty much nothing else. Extremely mild and boring.
