Pours a dark amber color with a fizzy head that tapers off. Not a whole lot of lacing ends up on the glass. Slightly malty and sweet but somewhat watery and leaving a thin mouthfeel. It’s alright, and it’s certainly reasonably priced. I would put this in the same class as Michelob Amber Bock and Yuengling and I’d prefer the other two over this one.

this is a sad wanna be red....I like that it got placed in this category....malt is way too sweet for either of those two styles.....and it finishes up cloyingly....gross stuff

Before I really knew beer this was one of my drinks, still not a horrible beer. Amber in color with a good head. Taste is slightly malty and a little biscuity. Aroma is plain with a little malt and hops.

12oz bottle: pours dark amber decent white head, aroma was pretty much straight malt, flavor malty with hints of caramel, way to much CO2. nothing worth writing home about.

Bottle, didn’t pour. Tastes smooth, malty and hoppy. Pretty simple beer without much flavor, carbonated water mouthfeel. Not a big fan of lagers, but this was decent. Wouldn’t go out of my way to get one, but if offered I would drink again.

Bottle. Poured a beautiful dark amber red color. Pretty good head, but it diminishes very fast. Smell was mostly caramel malt with a touch of hops. Tastes about the same with hints of nutty biscuits? Pretty good beer. Leaves a refreshing lingering feel in your mouth.

This beer looks better then it taste.Pours with almost no head and has a nice redish amber color and is clean and clear.Smooth and a little creamy on the palate. The bad news is this beer is light on taste has minor nut under tone. All and all this is ok beer.
