Great amber color, but the taste is pretty middle of the road. Nothing special, but it’s alright.

One of the five remaining top 100 rated beers I haven’t had. Toasty, light cherry, orange aroma. Slightly toasted flavor, and... well, pretty much nothing else. Extremely mild and boring.

Balanced easy drinking. Surprisingly enough, there are some hops here. Slight bitter balance with some simple malts. Not that bad.

Easy to drink and not too hard to find. Nice flavor. Not a lot of aroma. A little metallic.

I have had this a million times, and never rated it. The aroma is of caramel malts, light hops. The appearance is an attractive red color, white head. The flavor is caramel, sugar. malty, and some alcohol as it warms. The finish has a light bittering, which does make for a refreshing beverage. Ok overall, not bad for a macro.

BOTTLE, TAP: copper/red pour, head is foamy and quickly dissipating. Nose is malt and caramel, taste is bread, malt, caramel, but has a bit of dryness to the finish. Ah, decent.

pours a amber/reddish color with a head that mostly disappears rather quickly. taste is not that bad, but not the greatest either. reminds me of a better tasting budweiser. surprisingly easy to drink.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a pint glass. The color is a reddish amber with a slight foamy white head. No lacing. The smell is a light fruity flavor with some hints toffee. The taste is a bit of caramel and toffee flavors. Some slight hints of dark fruit and a yeast flavor that was surprising. This beer is pretty light in body with light carbonation. Goes down quite well and is not a bad beer for an Irish red. A pretty good session beer.
