| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Pours amber with a thick off-white head that gradually subsides to a thin ring with minimal lacing. Nose is bread and some caramel, with a hint of citrus. Has a mildly malty flavor, with the hops making a late appearance. Mouthfeel is weak and watery. Hardly any aftertaste. scooterbub (393), Lander, Wyoming, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 28, 2008 Bottle. Pours a red amber with a thin tan head that seems to last. Aroma is of caramel and malts. Taste is the same, but is on the watery side. Overall, this is not a bad brew, but I expected a lot more from this beer. Pretty good for the price though. | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 28, 2008 ...well, have had this many times, and brings back memories on draft from Guitar Bar nights. Could be better, of course, but a decent amber lager that has a quality that makes it drinkable. used to be better, but what didn’t. Beaver (600), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

The aroma is sweet metallic malts with a little toasted bitterness.
The flavor is sweet nutty and toasted malts with a little leathery bitterness at the finish. It’s a bit medicinal. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some semi-sharp carbonation.
Overall, a step up from standard BMC beers, but not very good. johnnyoski (164), Macomb, Michigan, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 27, 2008 12oz bottle: Virtually no head when poured and no lacing. Darker amber red color. Initial toasted nutty smell gives way to sourdough. Moderately sweet taste from start to finish. Strictly tastes of malt and yeast, not even a hint of hops. Still, not bad for a macro offering. timfoolery (484), California, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 27, 2008 Bottle from TGIF in Vacaville. I had a taste of my bro’s pick, and it wasn’t good. Take a lager, add some yeasty taste, and you’ve got this brew. It made me realize why I rate beers... So, I don’t make the same mistake twice! irishpenguin13 (27), Leesburg, Florida, USA
