Pours a clear ruby amber colour with no head. Nose of sweet malts with some characteristics of berries. Initial taste of black cherry and toasted malts. Finishing with some bitter hops. Palate duration is average. Medium body.

Malty, mild aroma. Amber-red in color, decent head that does not go away immediately. Malty flavor of caramel with a hint of hops. Very smooth for a dark lager. Enjoy with food or on its own. One of my favorite beers.

Can’t really complain about anything for this beer, but I can’t say it’s great either. Pours a reddish-brown color with a only a hint of aroma. Taste was similar to a lager with a darker hint to it that finished smoothly. Good choice if this is the best available beer.

This one looked good but dissapointed- basic malt flavous with lacking aromas. Not too much complexity or character.

So anyway, it looks and smells a little bit like an actual Irish Ale. Not quite, but a little bit. Then we get a lager taste going for it, but there is a little sweetness and a wee bit of maltiness. A mediocre beer, but at some places they are serving nothing better.

Killian’s Irish Red is a sweet lager that has a hint of a sugary flavor that is not overwhelming on the senses. It is a beer that is nice on a hot day

A pretty good red lager that will leave you satisfied. Finishes smooth with a lightly sweet taste to it. I recommened it.

I like the fact that this is made. Was the first beer I had that was out of the cheap pale lager catagory. Nice redish color, lakes a good head though. Nice light malty taste. I still buy this every so often for a little change. Not a bad inexspensive lager.
