I want to act like a big shot, but I can’t afford premium beers so I drink a Killian’s in order to look like a big shot. Not a bad beer but most people who buy this at clubs fail to realize it is a coors product and that they are not too special for drinking it. ajm (949), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 25, 2007 Killians tastes like airport bars and surprise layovers. A needlessly sour, imbalanced body with a bitter finish. Might as well not even be red. ajbradshaw (4), San Diego, California, USA does not count | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 17, 2007 Considering its origins, the beer isn’t all that bad. It’s nothing complicated, and it is a bit too similar to its brother, Coors, for my taste. Honestly though, I was surprised. It has an interesting flavor, though it is not full-bodied at all. It has a very unappealing, watery texture, but the initial aroma is very palatable. All in all, it’s certainly nothing fancy, but if you’re looking for something that’s a step up for the normal run of the mill crud that’s available at the average grocery store, this is definitely the answer. lampeno420 (321), Zeeland, Michigan, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 15, 2007 A staple for many bars for me as an "alternative to the big 3", just because it has a more full taste to it. Im just getting around to rating it now because its fresh in my memory. Great with anything, drinkable by itself although no big points are standout about it. A little watery on tap, less from a bottle. nbarringer (3), USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Nov 13, 2007 For a very long time I only drank beer on certain occasions. I was drinking all of the Mass Distributed "Light" beers. I alwas thought I couldn’t take the taste of a full beer. I was wrong. A friend of mine walked in with a pack of Killians Irish Red and I fell in love with it. I have tried it on tap as welll since then and let me tell you. I LOVE THIS BEER. It was the first beer I could actually drink and enjoy the taste! This beer has since then opened up a new world for me. THANKS KILLIANS! brianjames1 (322), Northridge, California, USA

Import name owned by USA macro that’s better than the traditional USA macro but only by hairs. See Blue Moon for comparable gradation. Nothing wrong with the Red... beats anything ’Light’ on tap at joints. Fuller bodied with a rich color... not your Coors Light.
