I am not a fans of reds to begin with, this red is near the bottom of my list. It has no special characterisitc that makes it stand out. Prefer Killkenny or Leinenkugel

From bottle : Pours a clear reddish amber color with small white head. Nose of bread and caramel and malts. Taste is malty with some bread dough. Palate is thin, somewhat watery.

I love me some Killians Irish Red! One of my favourite American beers and my favourite amber lager as well! Beats out Rickards and Keiths no problem.

Had this beer on 3/21/2000. Color is a clear rich amber, low carbonation and a light head. Aroma is a nice malt scent. Taste is smooth, rich and refreshing. Starting with a light medium body that goes down easy. Finish is a nice roasted flavor backed by a mild hop bitterness and slight hop flavor. Overall, it’s well balanced and refreshing.

Bottle and draft. Poured a copperish amber color with a thin tan head. decent flavor and mouthfeel considering the Coors source. Certainly drinkable and better choice than your mass-produced lagers.

Pours amber with 1 cm. of tan head. Decent lace. Nose is slight earthy hops and lite caramel. Cardboard, lite hops, and metallic malt in the finish. Linear taste. Not much going on. I found this to be more drinkable straight out of the bottle than a glass. Overall, an OK beer, not great.

Smells of sweet malts and caramel. Pours a nice looking clear dark amber color with very little head. Taste is roasted malts followed by an unpleasant watery feel and slight bitter/dry finish. Nothing special. Kind of reminds me of budweiser or something.

Bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, carmel and fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, light carmel and a hint of apple with a crisp watery washed out finish.
